Abstract:
The present invention relates to a head support instrument and, more particularly, to a head support instrument comprising: a body portion for supporting the head of a person; an upper-surface protrusion portion formed to protrude from the upper surface of the body portion such that the head is spaced apart from the upper surface of the body portion; a lower-surface protrusion portion formed to protrude from the lower surface of the body portion such that the lower surface of the body portion is spaced apart from the floor; and a ventilation opening formed inside the body portion so as to provide a movement passage through which air can flow in/out, wherein the ventilation opening has one end and the other end formed at a location other than the locations at which the upper-surface protrusion portion and the lower-surface protrusion portion are positioned such that, even when a person rests his/her head on the head support instrument, a natural flow of air continues through the ventilation opening, thereby preventing a body temperature rise in the part of the head contacting the head support instrument, and a natural drying effect is maximized even inside the head support instrument, thereby suppressing proliferation of microorganisms inside the head support instrument.
