Abstract:
A head-up display comprises a first panel, a second panel, and an optical system. The first panel has a plurality of first subpixels aligned at a first pitch along a disparity direction that provides disparity effect to both eyes of a user. The second panel has a plurality of second subpixels aligned at a second pitch along the disparity direction. The second panel is located along the first panel. The second panel creates a disparity image that provides disparity effect to both eyes of the user on the basis of the display image on the first panel. The optical system magnifies the disparity image to focus the same on both eyes of the user. The first pitch and the second pitch are equal to each other.
