Abstract:
According to the present invention, a scanning unit (5) scans laser light emitted by a laser light emitting unit (3). A light condensing unit (7) condenses the laser light scanned by the scanning unit and forms a beam. On a screen (9, 109), the beam formed by the light condensing unit is incident and a display image is formed. A projecting unit (11) projects the display image formed on the screen (9, 109) onto a display member. When a beam is incident on a certain position on a micromirror array (10) or a microlens array (110), two or more components (15, 115) forming the micromirror array or the microlens array fall within the range of the beam. When the center of the beam coincides with the center of a certain component, the center of another component adjacent to the certain component falls outside the range of the beam.
