Abstract:
Provided is a head-up display device that comprises: a screen in which light formed as a virtual image is projected onto a display region; an outer casing (60) that holds the screen; a scanner unit (30) that has a scanner (30a) that oscillates around a virtual scanning axis (37) and draws a display image in the display region via scanning performed by the scanner; and a scanner casing (40) that is held by the outer casing and holds the scanner unit. In the outer casing (60) and the scanner casing (40), an adjustment structure (70) is provided that enables adjustment of the emission direction (ID) of light emitted from the scanner casing (40) around at least the scanning axis (37) via rotation of the scanner casing (40) relative to the outer casing (60). A virtual adjustment axis (77), around which the scanner casing (40) rotates relative to the outer casing (60) via the adjustment structure (70), intersects the scanner unit (30).
