Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to control heat generation by infrared rays and degradation by ultraviolet rays of an intermediate screen (2). This head-up display device is provided with: the intermediate screen (2) whereon an image projected from an image forming unit (1) is formed; an enlarging optical system (3) for enlarging the image formed on the intermediate screen (2); and a light transmitting display member (5) for recognition of the image enlarged by the enlarging optical system (3) by an observer as a virtual image. When reference sunlight irradiated from the outside reaches the intermediate screen (2), the sum of the value of the integral for spectral irradiance for ultraviolet light (wavelength range 280 – 400 nm) and value of the integral for spectral irradiance for infrared light (wavelength range 760 – 2500 nm) is 30% or less of the value of the integral for spectral irradiance for visible light (wavelength range 400 – 760 nm).
