Abstract:
This head-up display device is provided with: light sources (111A, 111B, 111C) that emit light; an illumination optical system that guides the light from the light sources (111A, 111B, 111C) to a display element (121); a projection optical system that projects an image formed by the display element (121) onto a diffusing screen; and a virtual image generation optical system that converts an intermediate image projected onto the diffusing screen into a virtual image. The diffusing screen is mounted in a drive device that enables movement in an optical axis (AX) direction, and the projection optical system is provided with an adjustable diaphragm (126).
