Abstract:
A head-up display, comprising: a display means that displays a virtual image comprising any color, superposed on a scene observed from a moving body; and a display control means that displays on the display means a guide image relating to the road on which the moving body is traveling. The guide image comprises a guide section providing guidance information, a background section wherein the guide section is drawn, and a frame section surrounding the guide section and the background section. The frame section comprises the same color as or a similar color to the guide section. As a result: the border becomes distinct between the section wherein the guide image is displayed and the scene, around the guide image, observed from the moving body; and the visibility of the guide image can be improved.
