Abstract:
Provided are a head-up display system for an automobile and an automobile. The head-up display system for an automobile comprises a windscreen screen (10), a transmission drive chip (20), a reflection drive chip (30), a processing module (40), and a light intensity sensing module (50). The light intensity sensing module (50) senses a light intensity at one side of a TFT array substrate (11) and transmits a sensing result to the processing module (40). The processing module (40) receives a control instruction; under an automatic control mode, the processing module compares the sensing result against a pre-determined light intensity threshold, generates a comparison result, and controls, according to the comparison result and the control instruction, the transmission drive chip (20) and the reflection drive chip (30) to respectively drive a transmission region (111) and a reflection region (112) of a pixel, so as to control an operation mode of the windscreen screen (10); and under a manual control mode, the processing module controls, according to the control instruction, the transmission drive chip (20) and the reflection drive chip (30) to respectively drive the transmission region (111) and the reflection region (112) of the pixel, so as to control the operation mode of the windscreen screen (10). The invention has superior adaptability and excellent product quality.
