Abstract:
One aspect of the present disclosure is a head-up display (1) configured so as to provide a disparity image to an eye range via a member on which an image is projected, and is provided with a display unit (10) and a control unit (50). The display unit displays a plurality of disparity images that are visually recognizable at the same time for each of right and left eye ranges. The control unit generates the plurality of disparity images to be displayed by the display unit. The control unit generates the plurality of disparity images such that, when the distance from the eye range to an intersection point of lines of sight that correspond to the angle of convergence of both eyes is defined as a convergence distance, the distances from the eye range to image formation positions at which the plurality of disparity images entering an eyeball are formed are defined as multiple eye distances, and the distance of an optical path from the display unit to the eye range is defined as a display distance, the multiple eye distances are larger than the display distance and smaller than the convergence distance.
