Abstract:
This header comprises multiple branch tubes and a header collector tube, and is configured connected such that, when the flow regime of the refrigerant flowing into the header collector tube is an annular flow or a churn flow, the tips of the branch tubes inserted into the header collector tube penetrate a thickness δ[m] into the liquid phase and reach to the gas phase. Here, the thickness δ[m] of the liquid phase is defined as δ=G×(1-x)×D/(4ρ L×ULS) when G[kg/(m2s)] is the refrigerant flow speed, x is the dryness fraction of the refrigerant, D[m] is the inner diameter of the header collecting tube, ρL [kg/m3] is the refrigerant liquid density, and ULS[m/s] is the standard solution apparent velocity, which is the maximum value of the fluctuation range of gas apparent velocity of the refrigerant flowing into the flow space of the header collector tube. Further, the standard solution apparent velocity ULS[m/s] is defined as G(1-x)/ρL.
