The objective of the present invention is, with respect to a structure having a flat tube (5) formed by joining together a grooved first plate and second plate which are a pair of upper and lower plates, to prevent a loss of air-tightness and liquid-tightness between the structure and the header (8) due to a gap being formed at the portion where the plates are joined. A tab part (9) is formed at the position of a bulging portion (4) of the flat tube (5) so that the outer surface of the tab part (9) matches the outer surface of the side wall (2a) of the second plate (2). The edge surface (9a) of the tab part (9) abuts the edge surface of the side wall (2a).
