Abstract:
The invention relates to a header system comprising a cutter bar back (1) on which a knife back (2) for a cutter knife and cutter fingers (5) are arranged. A plurality of cutting elements (3) are secured to the knife back (2) and the mower knife is driven as to oscillate and reciprocate. Knife guides (10) at least for the mower knife are secured to the cutter bar back (1), and a means for reducing wear and increasing service life is provided. The invention further relates to a cutter finger for header systems and to a knife guide for oscillating cutting systems.
