Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to reduce the size and improve the characteristics of a DC/DC converter (5) of a headlamp light source lighting apparatus, said DC/DC converter (5) comprising: a coil (11) formed by connecting, via a through-hole (14), conductive foils (12 and 13) formed spirally on both the surface layer and the back layer of a printed circuit board (2); and a first core (21) and a second core (28) disposed so as to sandwich the coil (11) of the printed circuit board (2) therebetween. A flat plate portion (22) of the first core (21) is provided with a concave portion (26) at a position facing the through-hole (14) of the printed circuit board (2), and the flat plate portion (22) of the first core (21) and the area in which the coil (11) of the printed circuit board (2) abut each other, while the flat plate portion (22) of the first core (21) and the through-hole (14) of the printed circuit board (2) are isolated from each other.
