Abstract:
A headlight control device (21) disposed in a vehicle equipped with a chassis and a body. The body is provided with headlights in which a plurality of beaming devices are arranged, the respective optical axes of the beaming devices being fixed at mutually different angles, and the plurality of beaming devices include a beaming device in which when the body is subjected to a load corresponding to the maximum load capacity, the beaming range is lower than a reference surface, which is an imaginary horizontal surface that is parallel to the chassis and that passes through the headlights. A body angle estimation unit (41) estimates the body angle, which is the angle between the chassis and the body. A light distribution controller (44) controls, on the basis of the body angle and the direction of the respective optical axes of each of the beaming devices, the light distribution of each of the plurality of beaming devices so that the beaming range of the headlights is limited to a range extending downwards from the reference surface.
