Abstract:
A headlight light source (100) is provided with: a light emitting element (1); and a light guide member (3), which has a reflecting surface section (32) that reflects light emitted by the light emitting element (1), and a projection lens section (33) that projects light to the front of a mobile body, said light having been reflected by the reflecting surface section (32). The light emitting element (1) is disposed by being shifted from an optical axis (C1) of the projection lens section (33), the reflecting surface section (32) has a concave mirror shape, which has an optical axis (C2), and has one focal point (F2) on the optical axis (C2), an optical center (O), i.e., the intersection of the reflecting surface section (32) and the optical axis (C2) of the reflecting surface section (32), is disposed between the projection lens section (33) and a focal point (F1) of the projection lens section (33), said intersection being on the optical axis (C1) of the projection lens section (33), and the optical axis (C2) of the reflecting surface section (32) is disposed in the direction passing between a center portion of the light emitting surface of the light emitting element (1), and a center portion of the projection lens section (33).
