Abstract:
The present invention relates to a headliner in which an optical fiber implant panel made of a thermoplastic polyurethane material is laminated and adhered to an optical fiber passage panel made of a polyurethane material so as to form a display panel in that the optical fiber passage panel is formed into a back layer and the optical fiber implant panel is formed into a surface layer. The display panel has a plurality of through-holes arranged in a predetermined pattern. The front ends of optical fibers are bent into an obtuse angle and pass through each of the plurality of through holes from a back portion of the optical fiber passage panel to a surface portion of the optical fiber implant panel. The height of the surface portion and the height of the front ends of the optical fibers are on the same level, and an adhesive is inserted between the through-holes and the optical fibers to prevent the front ends of the optical fibers from escaping from the surface portion toward the back portion. A predetermined space is formed between the surface portion and the back portion, and a cover panel is arranged on the back portion and a foam resin is inserted and hardened between the back portion and the cover panel so as to prevent the plurality of optical fibers arranged in the space from moving. The ends of the plurality of optical fibers are connected to a light-emitting source, and the cover panel is mounted to a ceiling plate of a vehicle. Thus, the front ends of the optical fibers can be prevented from entering the back portion of the optical fiber implant panel even when a display panel layer is contracted or relaxed in the thickness direction of the display panel by force applied from an external source.
