Abstract:

This technology relates to a headphone, a reproduction control method, and a program which enable external sound to be more easily and quickly caught. A headphone is provided with: a sound pickup unit that picks up external sound; a detection unit that detects a specific motion for a sensor unit for capturing the external sound; and a reproduction control unit that, if the specific motion is detected, reproduces the external sound picked up by the sound pickup unit, and decreases the volume of sound being reproduced or stops the reproduction of the sound. This technology is applicable, for example, to a headphone.
