[Problem] To reduce a load applied to a coupling member for connecting a second horizontal shaft part and a base member in a headrest. [Solution] A headrest (12) for a vehicle seat (1) has: a pillar member (13) that has left and right vertical axis parts (13A) extending upward from the top of a seat back (3), left and right first horizontal axis parts (13C) extending forward from upper ends of the left and right vertical axis parts via curved parts (13B), and a second horizontal axis part (13D) extending leftward and rightward and coupled to each of the front portions of the first horizontal axis parts; a base member (14) that has a base vertical part (14A) extending vertically in front of the left and right vertical axis parts and a base upper part (14B) extending rearward from an upper end of the base vertical part, and has left and right first holes (21) through which the left and right curved parts or the left and the right vertical axis parts pass through the base upper part; a coupling member (15) that rotatably connects the base upper part to the second horizontal axis part; and a pad (16) supported by the base member.
