The present invention relates to the technical field of headphones, and specifically relates to a headset which is capable of displaying incoming call information of a communication device and textual or graphical information sent by the communication device, and which has an alert device. The headset comprises a main audio line, and an audio jack and a left earphone and a right earphone respectively connected at two ends of the main audio line, the left earphone or the right earphone is connected to a microphone control panel, a front surface of the microphone control panel is provided with a volume level adjustment button and a sound output button, and a back surface of the microphone control panel is provided with an alert device used for displaying incoming call information of a communication device connected to the audio jack and textual or graphical information sent by the communication device. The headset is provided with a small display, the small display has low power consumption, a user is able to complete basic functions of a mobile phone of receiving incoming call signals and text messages without waking up a large screen of a host, power consumption of the communication device host is conserved, and the headset is green and environmentally friendly.
