Abstract:
A headup display device 1 is provided with: a display element 110 that outputs light that is to form a display image; a beam splitter 120, which is an optical member that reflects or transmits light, and which reflects the light outputted from the display element 110; a movable mirror 130 that reflects the light reflected by the beam splitter 120; one or a plurality of first mirrors 150 and one or a plurality of second mirrors 160, which reflect or transmit the light transmitted through the beam splitter 120 after being reflected by the movable mirror 130, and which project a virtual image; and a movable unit 140 that adjusts the projection distance of the virtual image by adjusting the distance between the movable mirror 130 and the beam splitter 120.
