Abstract:
A headup display device (1) relating to one embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: a display element (110) that outputs light for forming a display image; a movable mirror (120) that first reflects the light outputted from the display element (110); one or a plurality of mirrors, i.e., a first mirror (140) and a second mirror (150), which reflect the light reflected by the movable mirror (120), and project a virtual image; and a movable unit (130), which adjusts the position of the movable mirror (120), and adjusts the projection distance of the virtual image. The movable mirror (120) is disposed at such a position that light to be inputted to the movable mirror (120) is nonparallel to the normal line of the movable mirror (120).
