Abstract:
Provided is a heald frame stave constituted of a carbon-fiber-reinforced composite material, the heald frame stave having a reduced weight and enhanced rigidity whereby a weaving machine can attain an increase in weaving speed and vibration-damping properties. The heald frame stave facilitates assembly and disassembly. Also provided is a side-stay mounting part structure for connecting the frame stave and side stays. A heald frame stave (2) constituted of a carbon-fiber-reinforced composite material comprises: two side plates (11a, 11b) which are constituted of a carbon-fiber-reinforced composite material; an upper plate (10a) and a lower plate (10b) which are constituted of a carbon-fiber-reinforced composite material and by which the top end and bottom end of one of the two side plates (11a, 11b) are connected respectively to the top end and bottom end of the other along the longitudinal direction; and first metallic bars (20) for fitting side stays (3), the first metallic bars (20) having been integrally attached to the lower surface of the upper plate (10a) respectively at both longitudinal-direction ends of the upper plate (10a). The upper plate (10a) and the lower plate (10b) are constituted of a unidirectionally carbon-fiber-reinforced composite material, and each has a thickness, as measured in the vertical direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, of 5-20 mm.
