A health and nutritious supplement comprising herbs, wild/rock grasses, fungi, marine algae, shellfishes, crustaceans, fishes, bean curd refuse, rice bran, sake cake, malted rice, fruits, seeds and so on; a method of freshening the breath after taking garlic; application of bean curd refuse to organic fertilizers; a method of producing cherry aroma tea using cherry leaves; a deodorizing method for eliminating age-related body odor or excretory odor; a method of producing a health and nutritious supplement seemingly efficacious in preventing life style-related diseases caused by dietary fiber deficiency which comprises processing cherry leafstalks and stems to facilitate digestion and absorption; and a method producing a deodorant with the use of Houttuynia cordata. One part portions of individual starting materials are smoked to give a dry powder and then fermented by a vegetable fermentation product followed by aging. To mask an offensive odor thus evolved or the excretory odor, smoked Houttuynia cordata or charcoal is added. To eliminate garlic odor, the mixture is heated and then stored in a frozen state. Bean curd refuse is fermented by a fermented pineapple extract. After adding rice bran, eggshell and dried cherry leaves thereto, a fermented feed, an organic fertilizer, a cherry perfume, cherry aroma tea and cherry leafstalks and stems are further blended and the obtained mixture is smoked to give a dry powder. Owing to the synergistic effects of dietary fiber and so on, the obtained product is expected as promoting digestion and absorption and contributing to the prevention of life style-related diseases caused by dietary fiber deficiency.
