Description:
HEALTHCARE INSTRUMENT FOR SAUNA AT ROOM TEMPERATURE AND LOCAL IRRADIATION TREATMENT

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention relates to a healthcare instrument for sauna at room temperature and local irradiation treatment.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Sauna in sauna room, though it has many advantages, has a drawback that the parts of a human body such as head and testicle are also heated, which is not desirable.

The devices such as far-infrared abdomen band, knee band and the like, being attached onto local parts of a human body to apply heat just thereto, cannot provide an instant and evident local irradiation treatment effect and particularly a sauna effect which draws out the harmful substances with sweat from a human body, because their radiation power and directivity are considerably low. Also, many other known far-infrared devices have not so high radiation power and directivity to obtain said effects. If you raise their temperature to increase the radiation power, then those will emit some near-infrared rays too, which is the reason for thermal stimulation contracting skin and capillary vessels and thereby resulting in illness, so it is impossible to obtain an effective local irradiation treatment effect.

Meanwhile, a far-infrared radiation generator disclosed in CN1878525 P and PCT/KP2004/000003(W02005060355 A2) has high emissivity and directivity of radiation without any thermal stimulation and accordingly enables to obtain a sufficient sauna effect and an instant and evident local irradiation treatment one, but it is a little heavy in weight, complex in structure and low in mechanical and thermal safety in case of using it as a household instrument because it is mainly for sauna room,

Also, with this generator it is impossible to irradiate any necessary parts of a human body in comfortable positions of sitting or lying down in any room situation and to change irradiation direction and distance easily.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The object of the present invention is to provide a household healthcare instrument; having high emissivity and directivity of radiation without any thermal stimulation and accordingly capable of sufficient sauna even at a room temperature and instant and evident local irradiation treatment; being light in weight and high in mechanical and thermal safety; and capable of irradiating any necessary parts of a human body in comfortable positions of sitting or lying down and controlling irradiation direction and distance easily.

To achieve this object, the present invention has made some changes and improvement to the far- infrared radiation generator disclosed in CN 1878525 P and PCT/KP2004/000003 to overcome its aforementioned drawbacks and employed the resulted improved one.

The healthcare instrument for sauna at room temperature and local irradiation treatment according to the present invention includes a far-infrared radiation generator, a generator-holding arm and a supporting stand.

The generator-holding arm is engaged with the generator by separable hinges and with the supporting stand in a way of insertion, so that those of all can be separated from each other if necessary.

The emitting panel is fixed in the emitting panel container by the fixing element such as screw and is spaced from the inner back face of the container by the ledge forming around the inner face of the container, the metallic radiation breaking sheet being inserted into the said spacing. And, one or more said containers containing the emitting panel and the radiation breaking sheet are fixed to the outer box by the fixing element such as screw. The protective lattice has the form of cover and is mounted by hooking means to be easily detached or replaced.

The generator-holding arm is engaged with a side edge of the outer box of the generator by separable hinges.

The supporting stand comprises a base having wheels at its bottom, a main post having a longitudinal hollow therein and standing vertically on the base, a sliding post being inserted into the said hollow of the main post and moving up and down to control its height, and a couple of horizontal bars attached to the top of the sliding post. The generator-holding arm is engaged with the supporting stand in the way of inserting the arm between the said horizontal bars which are parallel to each other and distanced vertically and horizontally from each other to maintain the inserted arm horizontally.
