Abstract:

A hearing aid (51) is provided with a pickup unit (500) which picks up any of the propagating sound output from a plurality of external devices, a wireless reception unit (560) which is an example of a reception unit which receives transmission audio signals transmitted from the plurality of external devices, a comparison unit (550) which compares the propagating sound picked up by the pickup unit (500) to the plurality of transmission audio signals received by the wireless reception unit (560) and selects a transmission audio signal corresponding to the propagating sound, and an audio output unit (520) which outputs, to the user, sound acquired from the transmission audio signal selected by the comparison unit (550).
