Abstract:
Wall emitter (10, 110) for heating or cooling a room, comprising an exchanger module having a set of fins (16) traversed by two tubes (15) and (17) for the circulation of a heat-transfer fluid, the exchanger module being responsible for transferring heat from the heat-transfer fluid to a flow of air, or vice versa, and being provided with an air outlet and with an air inlet, and at least two fans (20, 201, 202) perpendicular to the fins, the flow of air drawn in by the fans traversing the fins (16). The fans are situated below the fins in such a way that the exchanger module comprises an enclosure (18, 118) which is closed on the lateral sides and open towards the bottom only onto the fans and towards the top onto the fins, the flow cross section of the air outlet of the exchanger module being designed to be between 50% and 100% of the flow cross section of the air inlet. The device makes it possible to greatly reduce the energy consumption of a room or of a building while increasing the comfort of the occupants.
