Abstract:
The present invention provides a heat exchange device and a heat exchange method by which the occurrence of condensation is reliably detected and heat exchange between air and a refrigerant is efficiently sustained, in a configuration in which a heat exchanger is disposed at an incline within a housing. This heat exchange device (100) has a water leakage sensor (6) disposed in the vicinity of a refrigerant inflow opening (5A) of a radiator (3) disposed at a lower section of a heat exchanger 1 disposed at an incline. In the refrigerant inflow region (M), the flow rate of air (A) supplied by a fan mechanism (2) is relatively high, and thus, it is possible to quickly and reliably detect the occurrence of condensation on the basis of a detection signal from the water leakage sensor (6).
