This heat exchanger comprises: a first header that extends in a horizontal direction and into which a hot gas refrigerant flows during a defrosting operation; a plurality of first heat transfer pipes which extend in a vertical direction, which are provided to the first header with an interval between the pipes in the horizontal direction, and through which the hot gas refrigerant that has flown into the first header flows; a second header provided parallel to the first header; a plurality of second heat transfer pipes which extend in the vertical direction, which are provided to the second header with an interval between the pipes in the horizontal direction, and through which the refrigerant that has flown into the first header flows; and a corrugated fin disposed between the plurality of first heat transfer pipes and between the plurality of second heat transfer pipes. The corrugated fin has an inter-header region which is located between the first header and the second header, and the inter-header region has a first draining slit formed therein for discharging the meltwater.
