Abstract:
A heat exchanger (outdoor heat exchanger (6)) is provided with: a plurality of fins (15); a plurality of heat transfer tubes (14), which have an oval shape or a flat shape, and which are coupled to the fins (15); and a header (16), which is, on one end side thereof, in communication with an end portion of an inflow tube (18) for flowing in a working fluid, and on the other end side, in communication with end portions of the heat transfer tubes (14). The header (16) has inside thereof a longitudinal partitioning plate (21), which is disposed extending in the longitudinal direction, and which partitions the internal space of the header (16) into an inflow tube-side space (33F) in communication with the end portion of the inflow tube (18), and a heat transfer tube-side space (33R) in communication with the end portion of the heat transfer tube (14). The longitudinal partitioning plate (21) has an opening (21op) that is formed at a position not overlapping the inflow tube (18).
