Abstract:
This heat exchanger is constituted of fins (2), heat transfer tubes (3), and headers (4). These members are joined with each other by brazing. The fins (2), the heat transfer tubes (3), and the headers (4) are assembled and placed on a conveyor (101) such that the longitudinal directions of the headers (4) and the fins (2) are oriented in the horizontal direction. When doing so, a projection length Tf of the fins (2) from the heat transfer tubes (3) is set substantially equal to a distance Th from the heat transfer tubes (3) to the outer surfaces of the headers (4) on the same side as said projection.
