A heat exchanger, wherein an oil cooler unit in the state of preventing heat exchange cores (110) from falling off from a casing (120) is assembled temporarily to first and second plates (130, 140) and, after the oil cooler unit is immersed in flux to coat it with the flux, a bearing surface plate (150) is assembled to the second plate (140) and these plates are brazed to each other, whereby, because the thickness of the flux on the bearing surface plate (150) can be extremely reduced after the brazing is completed, a specified surface roughness can be assured on the bearing surface plate (150) even after the brazing while a man-hour required for flux coating is reduced.
