Abstract:
Dummy tubes (30) are respectively provided, through insertion pipes (31), near the gas inlet side of a heat recoverer (104), near the gas outlet side of the heat recoverer (104), and near the gas discharge side of a re-heater (108). A heat medium (83) is circulated within the dummy tubes (30) by means of branched paths (L2) branched from a heat medium circulation path (L1). The dummy tubes (30) are periodically extracted, and the amount of a reduction in the thickness of the dummy tubes (30) at the surfaces thereof is inspected. Thus, the state of damage, etc. of heat transfer pipes can be assessed by inspecting the amount of a reduction in the thickness of the dummy tubes (30) at the surfaces thereof.
