Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a heat exchanger having high heat transfer performance. A heat exchanger according to the present invention is characterized by being provided with: a first heat transfer pipe group and a second heat transfer pipe group each formed from a plurality of heat transfer pipes having refrigerant flow passages thereinside; a first header that is provided below the first heat transfer pipe group and is connected to the heat transfer pipes constituting the first heat transfer pipe group; a second header that is provided between the first heat transfer pipe group and the second heat transfer pipe group, and is connected to the heat transfer pipes constituting the first heat transfer pipe group and to the heat transfer pipes constituting the second heat transfer pipe group; and a third header that is provided above the second heat transfer pipe group and is connected to the heat transfer pipes constituting the second heat transfer pipe group, wherein the upper ends of the heat transfer pipes constituting the first heat transfer pipe group and the lower ends of the heat transfer pipes constituting the second heat transfer pipe group are arranged inside the second header, and the height from the inner bottom surface of the second header to the upper ends of the heat transfer pipes constituting the first heat transfer pipe group is higher than the height from the inner bottom surface of the second header to the upper ends of the heat transfer pipes constituting the second heat transfer pipe group.
