Abstract:

A heat exchanger (1) is provided with a parallel-flow heat exchange section (3) having vertically extending heat exchange pipes (11, 13). The parallel-flow heat exchange section includes at least a front row portion (7) and a rear row portion (9). The front row portion and the rear row portion respectively have vertically extending heat exchange pipes. A plate fin-and-tube heat exchange section (5) having plate fins (25), which each extend in the vertical direction, is installed in front of the lower part of the front face of the parallel-flow heat exchange section. The outlet end of the plate fin-and-tube heat exchange section and the inlet end of the parallel-flow heat exchange section are connected by piping.
