Abstract:

The main purpose of the present invention is to provide: a heat exchanger that can evenly distribute a gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant to a heat transfer tube disposed in a higher position and a heat transfer tube disposed in a lower position and that has a smaller size than conventional heat exchangers; and a refrigeration cycle device. The heat exchanger (1) comprises a distribution unit (10), and a first heat transfer tube (3a) and a second heat transfer tube (3b) that are connected in parallel to the distribution unit. The first heat transfer tube is disposed above the second heat transfer tube. The first heat transfer tube has a first inner peripheral surface (30a) and one or more first grooves (31a) that are recessed into the first inner peripheral surface and aligned side by side in the circumferential direction of the heat transfer tube. The second heat transfer tube has a second inner peripheral surface (30b) and one or more second grooves (31b) that are recessed into the second inner peripheral surface and aligned side by side in the circumferential direction. The internal pressure loss of the first heat transfer tube is smaller than the internal pressure loss of the second heat transfer tube.
