The purpose of the present invention is to provide a heat exchanger, a heat exchanger unit, and a refrigeration cycle device in which an insertion hole of a header and an end part of a heat exchange member can be properly joined. The heat exchanger and the refrigeration cycle device are each provided with a heat exchange member that extends in a first direction, and a header connected to the heat exchange member. The heat exchange member is provided with at least one heat transfer pipe that extends in the first direction, and a fin formed on a portion of end edges of the at least one heat transfer pipe in a second direction that crosses the first direction. End parts of the heat exchange member in the first direction are each provided with an insertion section to be inserted into the header, a contact section that is to be in contact with the header at a portion other than the insertion section, and a separate section that is separated from the header at the portion other than the insertion section.
