Abstract:
The invention relates to a collector/drier unit (1) for a refrigerant condenser of an automotive air-conditioning system. Said unit comprises a collector (10) and a drier (66) received therein so as to be replaceable. The collector has a peripheral wall (20) extending along its longitudinal axis and formed, at least in a section extending along the longitudinal axis, by a first tube (20). The collector has at least one inlet opening (30) for a refrigerant and at least one outlet opening (28) for the refrigerant. The outlet opening is disposed in the end section facing the first axial end of the collector. The collector, on its second axial end facing away from the first end, has a removal opening for the replacement of the drier. A detachable closure (36) for said removal opening is provided in the area of the second end. An adapter device (22) or a first profiled piece for the detachable closure is provided on the side of the first tube facing away from the first end. The detachable closure is maintained in its closed position on said adapter device or profiled piece.
