Title:
HEAT EXCHANGER FOR VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE, AND VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/108648
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A heat exchanger for a vehicle air conditioning device has: fins (1) which are arranged parallel to each other; and heat transfer pipes which penetrate through the fins (1), are parallel to each other, and are arranged so as to form a staggered pattern on the surfaces of the fins (1). The fins (1) are formed by dividing, by means of a wave shaped cutting die (9), a band-shaped material (2) in which through-holes (3) through which the heat transfer pipes penetrate are formed. A stage pitch (Dp) satisfies the relationships of Dp = C + D + 2W + 2δ and 0 <δ < D + W, where C is the thickness of the cutting die (9), D is the outer diameter of the heat transfer pipes, W is the width of fin collar flanges (5) protruding outward from the peripheries of the front ends of the fin collars (4) of the through-holes (3), the fin collars (4) protruding from one side of the fins (1), and δ is the clearance between the cutting die (9) and each of the fin collar flanges (5).
