Abstract:
A heat exchanger that is configured such that: heat exchange piping that comprises a steel material and circulates a medium liquid is provided inside a combustion furnace; and the medium liquid is heated as a result of combustion exhaust gas from the combustion of bamboo chips inside the combustion furnace contacting the heat exchange piping. The heat exchanger comprises: an outflow-side temperature detection device that detects the temperature of the medium liquid on a side at which the medium liquid flows out of the heat exchanger; and a temperature regulation device that is provided on a side at which the medium liquid flows into the heat exchanger and that regulates the temperature of the medium liquid in the heat exchange piping in accordance with detection output from the outflow-side temperature detection device. The temperature regulation device controls the temperature of the medium liquid inside the heat exchanger to be equal to or greater than the dew point temperature of hydrochloric acid and less than or equal to 400℃.
