Abstract:
Provided is a heat exchanger in which the structure of a conventional shell and coil type heat exchanger is fundamentally changed and heat exchange efficiency is remarkably improved while having a simple structure. This heat exchanger 1 has a dual pipe structure comprising an inner pipe 2 and an outer pipe 3 which are coaxially disposed, and has a configuration in which an annular flow passage 4 is formed in the axial direction between the outer circumferential surface of the inner pipe 2 and the inner circumferential surface of the outer pipe 3, and a spiral flow passage 6 is formed by disposing a coil pipe 5 in the axial direction inside the annular flow passage 4, while a flow passage is not formed inside the inner pipe 2, wherein a fluid to be cooled can be uniformly cooled with high efficiency by performing heat exchange between a cooling fluid, which flows in the annular flow passage 4 in a certain direction, and a fluid to be cooled which flows in the spiral flow passage 6 in a certain direction.
