Abstract:
A heat exchanger (10) has a heat transfer unit (30) in which a plurality of heat transfer flow passage sections (31) extending in a first direction (D1), and a plurality of heat transfer assisting sections (32) are formed arranged side-by-side in a second direction (D2) which is tilted relative or perpendicular to the first direction (D1). A plurality of such heat transfer units (30) are arranged in a third direction (D3) different from both the first direction (D1) and the second direction (D2) to form a heat transfer unit group (15). Also, in this heat exchanger (10), the heat transfer units (30) are divided in the second direction (D2) into a windward region (WU) and a leeward region (WL). When used as an evaporator, the heat exchanger (10) allows a refrigerant (F) to flow into heat transfer flow passage sections (31U) disposed in the windward region (WU), and then allows the refrigerant (F) to flow into heat transfer flow passage sections (31L) arranged in the leeward region (WL).
