Abstract:
[Problem] To improve the corrosion-resistance properties of a heat exchanger. [Solution] A heat exchanger comprises multiple fins and a heat-transfer pipe 30. The multiple fins each have a hole formed therein. The heat-transfer pipe 30 passes through the holes in the multiple fins and is integrated with the fins. The fins each have a substrate 20 and an organic substance layer 25. The substrate 20 is made from aluminum or an aluminum alloy, has a hole formed therein, and has a fin collar 16 that extends from the peripheral edge of the hole in the longitudinal direction of the heat-transfer pipe 30. The organic substance layer 25 is disposed at least on an end surface 16a of the fin collar 16. The film thickness of the organic substance layer on the end surface 16a of the fin collar is 10 to 250 μm.
