Abstract:

This heat flow switch (10) has a first member (20) and a second member (30). The first member (20) has a base material (22) and a carbon nanotube layer (24) formed on the surface (22a) of that base material (22). The heat flow switch (10) switches between a connected state, wherein the carbon nanotube layer (24) of the first member (20) contacts the second member (30), and a disconnected state, wherein the carbon nanotube layer (24) of the first member (20) does not contact the second member (30).
