Abstract:
A heat flux measurement device (100) is equipped with a first measurement unit (110), a second measurement unit (120), and heat flux calculation units (130, 140). The first measurement unit (110) uses a thermocouple (112) to measure the difference in temperature between a first measurement location and a second measurement location having a lower temperature than the first measurement location. The second measurement unit (120) uses a thermocouple (122), which has a different time constant to the thermocouple used by the first measurement unit (110), to measure the difference in temperature between a third measurement location considered to have the same temperature as the first measurement location and a fourth measurement location considered to have the same temperature as the second measurement location. The heat flux calculation units (130, 140) use the actual measured temperature differences acquired from the thermoelectric power of the thermocouple (112, 122) of each measurement unit (110, 120) and the time differential value of the actual measured temperature differences from each measurement unit to detect the time constant of at least one thermocouple (112, 122) of the measuring units (110, 120). The heat flux calculation units (130, 140) then calculate a temperature difference in which the delayed response of the actual measured temperature has been compensated for by using the detected time constant, and the heat flux is calculated from the compensated temperature difference.
