A heat generating stretch body (1) comprising a first sheet (3) having a stretchability, heat generating agents (6a-6c) arranged insularly on the upper surface of the first sheet (3) and generating heat by coming into contact with air, a second sheet (7) having stretchability and air permeability and bonded to the first sheet (3) while covering the heat generating agents (6a-6c), and an adhesive layer (10) applied to the lower surface of the first sheet (3). The heat generating stretch body (1) is provided in a state hermetically sealed in an outer bag (not shown) non-permeable to air. In use, the outer bag is unsealed and the heat generating stretch body (1) is taken out, release paper (11) is removed and then the part of adhesive layer (10) is applied to skin. Since the entire heat generating stretch body can stretch freely by the first sheet (3) and the second sheet (7), the heat generating body can be held in tight contact with the skin regardless of forms of portions, including joints and muscle portions which stretch greatly, to which the heat generating body is applied.
