Abstract:
A heat insulating cloth formed on an area of 30 to 85% of at least one surface of a base body consisting of a cloth, having a heat insulating layer including an infrared ray absorbent and a binder resin. A repetitive pattern unit consisting of this heat insulating layer and an exposed part of the base body not covered by the heat insulating layer is repeated at least in one direction of the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction. The heat insulating layer has a continuous area occupying 25% or over of the total area. The repetitive patterns of the heat insulating layer adjacent to each other are continuous to each other. Without damaging appearance of the cloth forming the base body, infrared rays can be efficiently absorbed and converted into heat, and the cloth exhibits high heat insulation by slight coloring.
