Abstract:
Provided are: a heat insulating container capable of maintaining a temperature for a longer period of time by dispersing, due to heat dissipation, the effect of temperature rise; and a method for producing the heat insulating container. The heat insulating container is intended for keeping warm a particular object of which the temperature needs to be managed, and is provided with a first heat storage material placed so as to surround the center section at which the object is to be placed and a second heat storage material placed so as to surround the outer surface of the first heat storage material, wherein the first heat storage material and the second heat storage material are liquid at the management target temperature of an object V1, and have freezing points at a temperature higher than, but close to, the lower limit of the allowable temperature range, of the object, including the management target temperature.
