Abstract:
The invention relates to a heat-insulating housing (10) with an at least extensively vacuum-tight outer jacket (13) and an at least extensively vacuum-tight inner lining which is spaced apart from said jacket. The jacket and the inner lining are interconnected in a vacuum-tight manner by connection profile (20) that is at least approximately U-shaped in the cross section. The leg (21) of the connection profile is fixed by welding on the outer jacket (13) and on the inner lining (12). The joint between the legs (21) of the U-shaped profile and the outer jacket (13) or the inner lining (12) is thickened. The thickening has at least substantially the thickness of the inner lining (12) or of the outer jacket (13).
