Abstract:
This invention relates to an architectural coating composition, particularly a heat insulation-water proof coating composition, and the coating film obtained therefrom. The coating composition comprises hydrated lime, enamel titanium white, calcite, binders such as modified polyvinyl alcohol, and modifiers such as powdered quartz, and optionally a heat insulation-water proof powder. The coating film obtained therefrom has a thinner thickness of 0.8-10mm, preferably 0.8-1.2mm. This coating composition has good heat insulation and water proof properties as well as good weather resistant and abrasion resistance. The coating film has a thinner thickness, reduced cost, high efficiency and long working life.
