Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a heat pipe that has a favorable maximum heat transport quantity, allows for suppression of heat resistance, and exhibits excellent heat transport characteristics, even when installed in a top heat orientation. This heat pipe comprises: a container having a sealed inner space; a wick structure that is formed by sintering metal fibers and that is provided on the inner surface of the container; and a working fluid sealed in the inner space of the container. The metal fibers include metal fibers with a length of 0.50-1.8 mm and a diameter of 10-50 µm.
